Written and Directed by BCC Alumni Kevin & Katie Maphis “Life’s Not Fair(e)” is a mockumentary following the directors and performance company of a Renaissance faire celebrating their tenth year anniversary. Follow this band of wacky characters as they try to keep the show going on in spite of budget cuts, injured actors, relationship issues, and a series of pranks enacted by a vengeful patron.

Dr. Andy Krikun, Prof. John La Barbera, also known as the Bergen Hobos, and co-directed & co-hosted by Dr. Jorge Arévalo Mateus, curator and head archivist of the Woody Guthrie Archives and Foundation will provide an entertaining and educational evening of narrations and performances on the folk music of the Great Depression, including the songs of Woody Guthrie and Leadbelly with Special Guests Dr. Leigh Jonaitis and Prof. Tim Blunk.

The Crucible by Arthur Miller is a fictional play based on the Salem witch trials which took place in Salem, Massachusetts in 1692. It tells the story of a village that becomes embroiled in a witch hunt. The people of Salem live in a constant state of fear as more and more people are accused of witchcraft.

At a large, tastefully-appointed Snedens Landing townhouse, the Deputy Mayor of New York has just shot himself. Though only a flesh wound, four couples are about to experience a severe attack of Farce. Gathering for their tenth wedding anniversary, the host lies bleeding in the other room, and his wife is nowhere in sight. His lawyer, Ken, and wife, Chris, must get "the story" straight before the other guests arrive.

Bergenstages Presents Radium Girls

In 1926, radium was a miracle cure, Madame Curie an international celebrity, and luminous watches the latest rage—until the girls who painted them began to fall ill with a mysterious disease. Inspired by a true story, Radium Girls traces the efforts of Grace Fryer, a dial painter, as she fights for her day in court. Her chief adversary is her former employer, Arthur Roeder, an idealistic man who cannot bring himself to believe that the same element that shrinks tumors could have anything to do with the terrifying rash of illnesses among his employees. As the case goes on, however, Grace finds herself battling not just with the U.S. Radium Corporation, but with her own family and friends, who fear that her campaign for justice will backfire.
